Lesson of the day: look down. As a photographer, I'm always looking left, right, forward, backward and even up. Sometimes I forget to look down. I did when passing by this group of cheerful flip-floppers Tuesday. They were selling them (of course), and paused for a moment to pose together for my first flip-flop portrait. -- Leila Navidi
