Um..not against box cutters, shoe bombs and it certainly ruined it for the rest of us. I don't feel safer either...where there is a will there is way.
The government and the media keeping fear alive in America. Won't be long before we are told to report to the camps, for our own safety.
Thank God at least one of the pilots is armed with a gun. Or that was the last word I've received. God rest the sould of anyone of us sitting immediately beside any future nut-jobs that tries another.
26 dead with a gun sort of pales beside 3000 dead with a box cutter.
Sadly, most of the gun nuts live in the South, and are poorly, if at all educated. So many are in Texas and Louisiana, polluted hell holes. But they have the votes to stop any attempts at gun control. Very sad....

Seriously? You don't know much about the FFDO program if you think there is always an armed pilot on the flight deck.
Until they start putting gun ports on flight deck doors, the FFDO program is ridiculous on the face of it. WHY? The FFDO has to open the flight deck door to have ANY effect on an incident. The key to airborne security is keeping the flight deck door closed and locked.
