Northwest Division Preview:
Shadow Ridge is reaping one unintended benefit from the four-game winning streak it went on at the end of last season to make the playoffs. First-year coach Frank Tousa has seen more players entering the program. The only logical expectation is that athletes on campus witnessed last year’s success first hand and wanted to become involved.

Shadow Ridge ready for new year after productive offseason

If summer camps serve as any type of indicator about the upcoming season, the 2010 Shadow Ridge Mustangs won’t even resemble the school’s teams of the last three years. Shadow Ridge, which hasn’t compiled a winning season or playoff appearance since 2006, came out of Utah State’s team camp in June as the talk of the week.

A Las Vegas resident was in the middle of one of the most exciting college football games this bowl season. With 19 seconds to play in the Humanitarian Bowl last week, Shadow Ridge High graduate Preston Davis came up with one of the biggest catches in the history of Idaho's football program.
