The playoffs began a little earlier for Boulder City and Chaparral. The scenario was simple: winner plays next Friday against Faith Lutheran in the state playoffs, while the loser saw its season come to a disappointing end. Boulder City avoided ending its season Thursday, grinding out a 14-8 victory.
