Arbor View runs a complex double-wing offense that gave Gorman’s defense minor fits early last year when the teams played in Sunset semifinals, making the regular season game a dress rehearsal of sorts for a likely postseason rematch.

Sure, six of the league’s nine teams have yet to play their first game, but with Palo Verde and Arbor View the clear-cut favorites to take the league title, the Panthers’ victory potentially will be tough for others to overcome.
