Bradley Alexander II threw four touchdown passes and added another TD rushing to help Canyon Springs overwhelm visiting Silverado, 56-17. The Pioneers ended the regular season 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the ultra-competitive Division I Northeast, claiming the league’s No. 1 seed.

Trevor Nofoa ran for two touchdowns, and the Jaguars opened the Division I-A Southern Region playoffs with a 34-20 home win over Cheyenne. The win sent Desert Pines into the I-A region semifinals, where it will meet defending I-A state champion and I-A Sunset No. 1 seed Faith Lutheran.
