The owners behind Station Casinos in Las Vegas are launching a free online gaming site this week, beginning with a poker game the developer calls the most authentic experience in cyberspace.

Sheila Zaun has an interesting claim to fame: She got to pick the pillows for the hotel rooms at Sunset Station. Zaun has worked as an administrative assistant in the executive offices of the resort since before it opened 15 years ago today.
The sign of the Fiesta Rancho lights up as dusk falls over the hotel-casino. The Fiesta Rancho was the first ever Fiesta casino. It was owned and operated by the Maloof family until Station Casinos Inc. bought the property in January 2001 and franchised the Fiesta name.

Progressive pai gow poker is paying off at locals casinos across Las Vegas. Station Casinos said its progressive jackpot winnings surpassed $1 million in April, three months after linking games at 10 of its properties. Top winners included a $216,000 jackpot on Jan. 31 and $213,500 on Feb. 16.

Locals casino giant Station Casinos LLC says cash flow is up and operations are improving, but not enough to prevent a $4.2 million loss for the fourth quarter.
The USA Lounge restaurant features artifacts from the Roadhouse Casino and Lounge, which closed in 2002. Both properties are owned by local developer Robert Mc Mackin.
