Michael Jackson's doctor halted CPR on the dying pop star and delayed calling paramedics so he could collect drug vials at the scene, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press that shed new light on the singer's chaotic final moments.

LOS ANGELES -- The doctor who prosecutors say caused Michael Jackson's death has been released from jail after posting $75,000 in bail, only a few hours after surrendering to authorities on a manslaughter charge.
This home at 2785 S. Monte Cristo, where Michael Jackson lived in 2008, fetched a price of $3.1 million after it was taken back by the lender in lieu of it going through foreclosure.

A 16,400-square-foot home where Michael Jackson resided for six months in late 2007 and early 2008 has sold for $3.1 million. Jackson rented the home at 2785 S. Monte Cristo, which is southeast of the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Sahara Avenue. The home was ultimately taken back by the lender, Eastern Savings Bank, in lieu of it going through foreclosure with the previous owner, said Carolyn Mullany, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Premier.

The physician being investigated in Michael Jackson's death reached an agreement Monday in a separate child support case that will keep him out of jail.
Joe Jackson and the Jackson Family were honored with a star Tuesday night at the Brenden Theater at the Palms Resort in Las Vegas. The event coincided with an early screening of the new Michael Jackson documentary film, "This is It."

Federal agents searched for records of controlled substances at a Las Vegas pharmacy this morning as part of the investigation into the death of Michael Jackson. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency assisted by state and local law enforcement went to Applied Pharmacy Services on West Flamingo Road near Jones Boulevard about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The search is part of a probe of Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who has offices in Las Vegas and Houston.

Federal authorities are executing a search warrant today at the Las Vegas medical office and home of Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, as part of a manslaughter investigation into the singer's death. Michael Flanagan, with the DEA office in Las Vegas, said the DEA, Los Angeles Police Department and Metro Police are looking for documents at Murray's office at 2110 East Flamingo Road.

Jackson left Las Vegas on that morning and flew to Santa Barbara, Calif., to turn himself in to authorities on charges of child molestation.
