There were two murders the night I had dinner at The D Las Vegas downtown, and the suspect sat just a few tables away until a police investigator exposed his identity. Don’t be too shocked because it wasn’t real-life ugliness.

It’s frightening to think that 40 years ago, iPhones didn’t exist, and instead we held up a Get Smart shoebox-sized phone with a 6-foot antenna to our ears. Worse is that online dating sites didn’t exist back then.

Joe Vargas is reporting that the Light Group’s Haze nightclub in Aria will shut down after Halloween weekend, and it is closing indefinitely with remodeling plans canceled — at least for now. I’m also hearing that Gold Lounge will get a makeover.
