Las Vegas schoolchildren will be presenting their end-of-year report cards to superstar Shania Twain next week. Last fall, I interviewed Shania after her charitable foundation Shania Kids Can donated funds and furniture to needy elementary school students.

Between now and mid-April, there will be “Mamma Mia!” rehearsals in New York. Then Las Vegas and New York crews, casts and musicians will start joint rehearsals at the Tropicana for the first performance May 8.

Xposed!, a new weekly LGBTQ beach party, is kicking off at Tropicana Beach Club beginning March 29. The dayclub, open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will feature entertainment and DJs Ryan Kenney, Kidd Madonny, Roland Belmares and Hector Fonseca.

Swedish pop group ABBA’s jukebox musical “Mamma Mia!” is still going and going and going like the Energizer Bunny. It’s still a monster hit around the world since its 1999 debut in London, and it has played in more than 40 countries on five continents.
