It’s very interesting to me that the Democrats release a sexual assault charge against the Supreme Court justice nominee in the eleventh hour of the hearing process — an allegation they received, but kept under wraps, for more than two months. The alleged assault supposedly happened more than 35 years ago.
Now the accuser is refusing to testify in front of Congress, saying she wants an FBI investigation before any testimony is given. The FBI has vetted this nominee more than once over the years due to his applications for security clearances and other judicial positions. It never found any problems with him, sexual or otherwise. I guess this accuser doesn’t trust or believe the FBI’s past vettings. Do the Democrats also think the past background checks were just shoddy work?
