Hours after losing last week in the final seconds at Liberty, members of the Arbor View High football team were back in the weight room.

A Saturday morning training session was scheduled regardless of the outcome in the initial game. And players did more than go through the motions.

“I’m proud of how the kids rebounded,” coach Dan Barnson said. “We had a great week of practice.”

That mentality paid off tonight as Arbor View bounced back with a 31-6 victory against Orem of Utah.

Quarterback Hayden Bollinger completed 7-of-14 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown. Deago Stubbs carried the ball eight times for 52 yards and added a touchdown reception.

Zach Melson rushed eight times for 65 yards and one touchdown, and Carter Andrade had a short field goal. Arbor View opened the game with 31 unanswered points.
