Desert Pines locked up its first shutout victory of the season Friday night.

The Jaguars mauled Boulder City 64-0 to celebrate their homecoming. There were no distractions in Desert Pines’ way as it more or less put the game away in the first quarter.

Junior quarterback Marckell Grayson threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns on 8-for-12 passing, while junior running back Isaiah Morris carried the ball six times for 140 yards and three touchdowns.

Morris also added 70 receiving yards. Andrew Gray scored two touchdowns, one rushing and one on an interception return. Jordan Diggs also got in on the action with a rushing touchdown.

“It was really spread out,” Desert Pines coach Tico Rodriguez said. “It was a good effort from our kids.”
