The Virgin Valley High football team beat host Rancho 14-0 tonight for its third straight win, shutting out a second straight opponent.

Hogan Fowles’ 32-yard touchdown pass to Josh Bishop with 7:32 remaining in the second quarter gave Virgin Valley a 7-0 lead.

Cody Jones scored on a 7-yard run with 6:37 to play for the Bulldogs’ other points.

The Virgin Valley defense has been solid during its winning streak, surrendering six points over the last three games. Last week, it blanked Del Sol.
