Bonanza is officially riding a winning streak and sporting a winning record for the first time in two years.
The Bengals defeated host Valley 40-24 Friday night behind the second straight big rushing night from running back Deshawn Williams. The senior totaled 151 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries.
He wasn’t the only big-time performer for Bonanza. Sophomore quarterback Joey Fox threw for 291 yards and two touchdowns in addition to scoring a rushing touchdown.
Fox’s favorite target was junior R.J. McCarter, who caught two touchdown passes to go with 178 yards.
