CARSON CITY — Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske today named Richard Hy as the new deputy for elections to succeed Scott Gilles, who resigned last month.
Hy, an attorney, was previously an associate with the law firm of Kolesar & Leatham in Las Vegas. He handled commercial litigation and construction cases.
Gilles resigned to join the city of Reno.
