The beginning of a new session of Congress is an important opportunity for Sen. Harry Reid, Republicans and Democrats to work together to solve our nation’s problems. No matter who we had supported in the last election, we all have an opportunity to watch Reid and other leaders work together to generate solutions to the problems facing our country today.
The new Congress includes more than 70 new faces (mostly Republicans). With two years to go until the next election cycle, Congress has an opportunity to come together and govern.
But as Congress gets underway, I hope Sens. Reid and Dean Heller and Reps. Cresent Hardy, Dina Titus and Joe Heck will work across party lines.
