Reserve uproar for lax representatives

What an insightful, thoughtful and enlightening summary of “BibiGate” by Brian Greenspun (Sun, March 1)! He dissected and analyzed the unfounded, ill-inspired and shameful uproar over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s appearance before our House of Representatives with clarity. Greenspun then presented an appropriate conclusion condemning our national leaders for failing to lead.

Netanyahu represents a nation acknowledged to be in the crosshairs of a theocracy whose leadership is desperately trying to develop nuclear weapons with which it will be capable of removing Netanyahu’s country from existence and endangering the rest of civilization on this planet. The 537 men and women who sought, campaigned for and won the honor and responsibility of governing our great nation fail to discharge their responsibilities seriously, choosing to pursue politics and personal aggrandizement instead.

We hope Netanyahu’s presentation jars our legislature awake. The world is facing Armageddon, and the civilized people of this planet are screaming for competent leadership while our nation’s leaders wallow in callous inactivity and denial.

May God bless Netanyahu in his important undertaking.
