Serenity now: M Resort’s Daydream Pool

Competition to land a summer gig in Las Vegas’ bustling pool club scene is fierce. But as preparations for the pool season ramp up, resorts rolled out more job opportunities this week at pools and dayclubs.
Here’s a look at some of the latest daylife hiring fairs:
• The Stratosphere will host a hiring event Feb. 10 to fill several dozen jobs for beverage servers at its rooftop pool. Work begins in March.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Candidates must apply online at acepcareers.com.

• Tao Group is staffing up for Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan and Tao Beach at the Venetian with a hiring fair from noon to 5 p.m. Jan. 24, 28, 30 and 31 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 29 at Tao Nightclub.
Interviews and casting calls will be held for cocktail servers, bartenders, barbacks, porters, bussers, cashiers, go-go dancers, cooks, dishwashers, security officers, runners, promoters and managers.
Applicants should bring a resume, head shot and beach attire.
• The M Resort will host a job fair for its main pool and the Daydream pool club Jan. 27-29 and Feb. 10-12. Available positions include cocktail servers, bartenders, barbacks, lifeguards, security officers, cashiers, pool supervisors, VIP sales representatives and cooks.
Cocktail servers candidates must audition in swimwear.
Candidates should apply online in advance through the M Resort website. Auditions will be held on-site at the Ravello Lounge.

Tuesday, Jan. 27; Wednesday, Jan. 28; Thursday, Jan. 29
• 10 to 11 a.m.: Auditions for cocktail servers only (must audition in swimwear).
• 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Auditions for bartenders, barbacks, cashiers, pool supervisors, lifeguards, security officers, VIP sales representatives and cooks.
• 4 to 5 p.m.: Auditions for cocktail servers only (must audition in swimwear).
Tuesday, Feb. 10; Wednesday, Feb. 11; Thursday, Feb. 12
• 10 to 11 a.m.: Auditions for cocktail servers only (must audition in swimwear).
