Jin William Ackerman appears at the Regional Justice Center, before the honorable Judge Joseph Sciscento, for his 72-hour hearing. Wed. Dec 31, 2014. Ackerman is accused of robbing a Las Vegas Walgreens and shooting and killing the store clerk, which whom he had known personally.

A former Walgreens employee accused of robbing a store and killing a clerk he once worked with was indicted today on nine counts, including murder with a deadly weapon, the Clark County District Attorney's Office said.

Jin Ackerman, 25, will face the murder count as well as three counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, three counts of first-degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon and two counts of burglary with a deadly weapon, according to the indictment document.

Ackerman is accused of murdering 58-year-old Antonino Isnit on Dec. 26 at a Walgreens at 8500 W. Cheyenne Ave., near Rampart Boulevard.

The pair worked together at the location Oct. 15, 2011, police said.

Police say Ackerman entered the store wearing surgical masks and gloves, asking to use the bathroom before pulling out a gun.

When Isnit returned from a lunch break, Ackerman allegedly pointed the gun at him and said, "Sorry, Tony, but you know me," according to an arrest report.

Employees at another Walgreens at 9415 W. Desert Inn Road, near South Fort Apache Road, identified Ackerman as the suspect in a robbery that occurred at that store two days earlier, the report said. Ackerman is being charged with both crimes.

He was fired by Walgreens in July 2013 for “improper use of the computer regarding employee files," the report said.

Ackerman is being held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center, and he is scheduled to be arraigned in district court Thursday.
