A man whose body was found Wednesday morning in a patch of bushes after a hit-and-run accident has been identified as 27-year-old Charles Andrew Hayden, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Hayden, whose city of residence was not available, died of multiple blunt force trauma after being hit by a vehicle near a gas station at Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard, officials said.
Police believe Hayden was in the road when he was hit by a vehicle headed west on Tropicana.
He was hurled toward a palm tree and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
There were no witnesses to the collision when officers arrived on scene, police said.
