A man who was found lying dead in a walkway with multiple stabs wounds near his downtown residence Saturday morning has been identified as 53-year-old Jesus Rebollado Orozo, the Clark County Coroner's Office said.
Police responded to Orozo's residence in the 800 block of N. Sagman St., about a block from Cashman Field near Maryland Parkway and East Washington Avenue, about 8:35 a.m., according to a Metro Police press release.
Orozo was pronounced dead on scene, police said.
Detectives believe he was walking and was attacked upon entering a courtyard, police said.
His was the fifth homicide investigated by Metro this year.
