A girl was hit by a U-Haul truck this afternoon in the northeast valley after she apparently fell off a bike and into the road, Metro Police said.
The juvenile suffered what appear to be minor injuries in the accident near East Craig Road and Las Vegas Boulevard North, Officer Laura Meltzer said.
Police were called to the scene just after 1:45 p.m.
The girl, whose age was not available, was alert after the accident and was treated at the scene, Meltzer said.
She was not being transported by ambulance to the hospital, and a parent was on the scene, Meltzer said.
