In response to the letter “Chris Christie insults home state” (Las Vegas Sun, Jan. 13): I’ve heard and read a lot of crazy stuff in my life, but this letter is at the top.
Take for instance: I’m a politician in Boston; I’ve done everything right. I raised employment, housing is in the right direction, taxes are low, I voted against Obamacare and I voted to close our borders, but I’m a Yankee fan.
Should I be voted out of office because of my sports preference?
I read the letters section in both the Sun and Review-Journal. I can’t recall ever reading something so ridiculous.
Not that Chris Christie would be my choice for president; he’s not, but to let a sports team preference dictate whom I vote for is ludicrous.
Vote with your head, not a sports-team preference.
