Dale Prater
A 60-year-old inmate at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs died Thursday, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Dale Howard Prater, who was serving a sentence of 1 year to 30 months for possession of a controlled substance for sale, died at the institution.
His cause of death will be determined by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Prater was committed from Washoe County and had been in the Department of Corrections custody since May 21.
