Plan ahead for these road projects in the coming week in the Las Vegas Valley

Here’s a look at some of the roadwork or road closings you might encounter in the coming week across the Las Vegas Valley:

SHORT-TERM PROJECTS

Nevada Department of Transportation

Interstate 15 at Cheyenne Avenue: north and southbound on- and off-ramps will be closed starting for milling and paving. Use Lake Mead Boulevard and Craig Road on- and off-ramps at I-15 as detours. End date: 5 a.m. Monday.

Cheyenne Avenue near Interstate 15: eastbound and westbound Cheyenne Avenue lanes will be restricted while milling and paving takes place on the I-15 on- and off-ramps. End date: 5 a.m. Monday.

ONGOING PROJECTS

Nevada Department of Transportation

Interstate 15 and Cactus Road interchange: final cleanup and incidental work will continue to affect traffic in the area. Projected end date: end of September.

F Street Connection Phase 3 — Interstate 15 between Washington Avenue and U.S. 95: I-15 on-ramp at D Street is closed; southbound lanes on I-15 have been moved to the northbound side and limited to two lanes in both directions. Projected end date: October.

Clark County

Dean Martin Drive between Post Road and Sunset Road: from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Mondays through Fridays, southbound traffic will be shifted to the northbound lanes, where there will be one lane open in each direction for utility work. Projected end date: Tuesday.

Las Vegas

Seventh Street, from Carson Street to Fremont Street: street closed for water and sewer work. Projected end date: Oct. 15.

Alexander Road at Torrey Pines Drive: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Alexander Road at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Ann Road at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Ann Road at Torrey Pines Drive: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Bonanza Road at Page Street: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Bridger Avenue between Main Street and Sixth Street: street disruption for street, sidewalk, lighting and landscaping improvements beginning Monday. Projected end date: April 2015.

Cactus Bloom Lane at Washington Avenue: street closed for asphalt project. Projected end date: Thursday.

Centennial Parkway at Grand Montecito Parkway: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Charleston Boulevard between Cimarron Road and Warbonnet Way: street disruptions for sewer work. Projected end date: Nov. 21.

Deer Springs Way between Beloved Street and Durango Drive: street disruptions for utility work. Projected end date: Sunday.

Deer Springs Way at Kostner Street: street disruptions for concrete work. Projected end date: Oct. 3.

Durango Boulevard between Lake Mead Boulevard and Vegas Drive: street disruptions for sewer work. Projected end date: Wednesday.

F Street between City Center Parkway and McWilliams Avenue: street closed. Projected end date: Dec. 31.

Hills Center Drive between Village Center Circle and Lake Mead Boulevard: street disruption for landscaping; expect delays. Projected end date: indefinite.

Main Street between Carson Avenue and U.S. 95: east half of the road will be closed to traffic for reconstruction of drainage facilities, sidewalk and roadway. Two-way traffic will be on the west side of Main Street with one travel lane in each direction. Projected end date: 2015.

Ogden Avenue between Main and First streets: street disruption for California Hotel sign maintenance. Projected end date: Jan. 2.

Ogden Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Racel Street between Grazing Grass Street and El Capitan Way: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: Oct. 28.

Rainbow Boulevard from Ann Road to Tropical Parkway: expect delays for storm drains construction. Projected end date: end of 2014.

Rainbow Boulevard at Red Coach Street: street disruption for water and sewer work. Projected end date: Saturday.

Rampart Boulevard between Lake Mead Boulevard and Vegas Drive: street disruption for sewer work. Projected end date: Wednesday.

Rancho Drive between Sahara Avenue and U.S. 95: intermittent lane closures while fiber optic cables, traffic signal upgrades and digital message signs are installed to improve congestion. Work will be completed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in busy sections of the road and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in residential sections. Projected end date: mid-November.

Skye Pointe Drive at Cimarron Road: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Stewart Avenue at Third Street: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Washington Avenue at Sandhill Avenue: street disruption for signal installation. Projected end date: Nov. 27.

Henderson

Warm Springs Road from Arroyo Grande Boulevard to Stephanie Street: Intermittent lane restrictions for removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk ramp replacements and re-striping bicycle lanes. Projected end date: end of 2014.

Eastern Avenue from St. Rose Parkway to Silverado Ranch Boulevard: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays lane restrictions for removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk ramp replacements and creating bicycle lanes. Projected end date: end of 2014.

Whitney Ranch Drive from Russell Road to Arroyo Grande Boulevard: Intermittent lane restrictions for repaving, sidewalk ramp replacements, creating bicycle lanes and a new traffic signal at Patrick Lane. Projected end date: end of 2014.

North Las Vegas

Carey Avenue and Revere Street: intermittent street disruptions while a roundabout is removed and replaced with traffic lights. Projected end date: fall.

Losee Road and Lone Mountain Road: expect street disruptions while a pedestrian bridge is being built. Projected end date: fall.
