A resident fired shots at suspects during an attempted home invasion near North Torrey Pines Drive and Vegas Drive this morning, according to Metro Police.
A call came in at 11:12 a.m. of two people attempting to break into a home in the 1700 block of Breezewood Drive, Officer Jesse Roybal said. A resident fired shots at the would-be intruders, Roybal said.
It was unknown if anyone was injured, Roybal said.
The suspects were described as two black male juveniles, Roybal said.
The two suspects may have fled the scene in a gray or blue sedan seen leaving the area after the incident, Roybal said.
