Drugs, alcohol killed man in Las Vegas for EDC music fest, coroner says

Authorities say a 21-year-old California man who died in Las Vegas before attending the Electric Daisy Carnival music festival had a lethal combination of cocaine, methamphetamine and alcohol in his system.

The Clark County coroner reported Wednesday that Joey Sayachak (SAY'-chek) of Fresno's death was an accident.

Sayachak died June 25, five days after he was found unconscious in a Las Vegas home he rented with friends.

The electronic music festival June 20-23 attracted more than 130,000 people.

Sayachak was one of three people who authorities say died during the weekend.

Anthony Anaya of Everett, Wash., attended the festival before being found dead June 21 at the Vdara resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

Montgomery Tsang of San Leandro, Calif., died after being transported from the festival to the hospital.
