Police say barricade situation in Laughlin is over

A barricade situation in Laughlin has been resolved and a person taken into custody, Metro Police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police earlier said they were investigating a reported domestic dispute that started about 8:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of Cal Edison Drive . At the time, police reported that a male may have been armed with an ax.

The situation was resolved peacefully shortly after 11 a.m., police said.

SWAT members and negotiators were dispatched to the scene. No additional details were immediately available.
