One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a car and a motorcycle collided Thursday evening in North Las Vegas.
The crash was reported just after 8 p.m. on Tropical Parkway just east of Decatur Boulevard, according to North Las Vegas Police spokesman Aaron Patty.
Patty said one of the two motorcycle riders was pronounced dead on scene and the other was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition.
The single occupant of the car suffered no injuries and remained on scene, Patty said.
According to Patty, speeding by the motorcycle may have been a factor, but the cause is still under investigation.
