Coroner: Man found in flood channel was stabbed to death

A man found dead in a central valley flood control channel in April has been identified, and Metro Police are seeking information about his death.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office said Michael David Trudeau, 44, died of stab wounds to the neck and back. His death was ruled a homicide.

Trudeau’s body was found April 15 in a channel about 300 yards north of B Street and West Owens Avenue, according to a Metro Police news release.

Trudeau’s body appeared to have been at the scene for 15 to 20 days, police said. He was last seen about April 7, police said.
