Metro Police are investigating a shooting death Thursday night at the Sherman Garden Apartments in West Las Vegas.
The incident was reported at 7:40 p.m. at 1701 J St. near West Owens Avenue. A male was shot multiple times, according to Metro Police Lt. Barb Schmidt.
The victim was transported to University Medical Center and pronounced dead. It is unclear whether the shooting was gang-related.
The Metro homicide team is responding. This is an active investigation.
