AT&T customers in need of wireless Internet on the Las Vegas Strip will now be able to access free Wi-Fi, the company announced today.

The telecommunications company is providing its customers with Wi-Fi for two miles along Las Vegas Boulevard, from Sands Avenue to Tropicana Avenue.

More than 60 access points will provide coverage for the area, according to an AT&T press release.

Accessing the Wi-Fi will not count against customers' data allotment, the company said.

"The Las Vegas Strip brings flocks of people from all walks of life looking to enjoy themselves. Our customers, whether locals and tourists, will enjoy free Wi-Fi to help enhance their wireless experience while visiting the Strip,” AT&T Nevada President Stephanie Tyler said in the release.

The company has more than 300 additional hotspots throughout the Las Vegas area, according to the release.
