In light of depressing developments both national and international, it would be productive if declared political candidates were subjected to intense, in-depth questioning by our Fourth Estate. The reporting should provide accurate verbatim answers, no paraphrasing or interpretations.
The media has all the qualifications to induce honest responses, enabling the public to be more likely to elect qualified, informed candidates as opposed to slogan-quoting, party-centric drones. Our country desperately needs an experienced guide.
