Updated Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 | 1 p.m.

A 66-year-old Henderson man died this morning after a car ran off the road and hit a tree, Henderson Police said.

Police received reports about 4:40 a.m. that a four-door Hyundai was north on Seven Hills Drive when it crossed the median and hit a tree near St. Rose Parkway, police department spokesman Keith Paul said.

Investigators believe the man may have suffered a medical episode, Paul said. The Clark County Coroner's Office identified him as Roy Robinson.

Robinson died at the scene, Paul said.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle, and no other injuries were reported, Paul said.

The road was closed about four hours as police investigated the crash, Paul said.

The Coroner's Office will conduct anautopsy.
