For Centennial, it’s finally Arbor View time.

The two archrivals officially go into next week’s showdown for the Sunset Northwest division championship undefeated.

Centennial couldn’t possibly enter on a much higher note. The Bulldogs destroyed Desert Oasis 50-0 in their penultimate regular season game Friday.

The Centennial defense held its opponents to less than 100 yards of offense. Both the passing and running games clicked against the Diamondbacks.

Juan Rodriguez threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns, one to Savon Scarver and one to Ivan Ochoa. Rodriguez also ran for 61 yards and a touchdown, making him the team’s second-leading rusher behind Rhamondre Stevenson who had 15 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Centennial gets to host Arbor View this year, and is looking for revenge from a 35-7 loss last season.
