Four people were hospitalized after a six-car crash at a Henderson intersection Saturday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at Stephanie Street and Warm Springs Road, Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said. A vehicle traveling south on Stephanie failed to yield in the intersection and T-boned another vehicle, Richards said. The collision sent both vehicles into eastbound traffic, where they crashed into four other cars.

Four people were taken to hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening. Three were taken to St. Rose Dominican Hospitals — Siena Campus, and one was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, Richards said.

The intersection was closed for about two hours but was reopened at 3:30 p.m.
