A pedestrian injured in a hit-and-run accident near Circus Circus last month has died, Metro Police said.
Gosani Vallabhdas, 76, was crossing Industrial Road south of Circus Circus Drive on the evening of Sept. 10 when he was hit by a 2009 Ford Explorer, according to a Metro Police.
Vallabhdas, who was not in a crosswalk, was transported to University Medical Center and was in intensive care until he died Sept. 25, police said.
He died of multiple blunt force injuries, the Clark County Coroner’s Office reported.
Police arrested Scott Lefkowitz, 52, on a count of felony hit-and-run in connection with the incident.
The death marked the 60th traffic-related fatality this year in Metro Police jurisdiction.
