Witnesses say the car, a dark gray Honda Civic with a Nevada license plate starting with the numbers 948, has visible damage to the right front of the car. The driver is described as a woman from 20 to 30 years old, according to a press release.

The 63-year-old grandfather was pushing his 1-year-old granddaughter in a stroller on the east side of South Rainbow Boulevard near West Warm Springs Road when a Honda Civic headed north drove off the road to the right to pass other vehicles, striking the pedestrians, according to police.

The baby was conscious when medical personnel arrived, Officer Laura Meltzer said. She was released from the hospital with minor injuries, according to the Metro press release.
