The father of a baby who died Tuesday has been arrested on a murder charge, Metro Police said.
Cornelio Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 23, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of murder by child abuse, according to a Metro statement.
Rodriguez-Gonzalez's baby was found unresponsive inside a residence in the area of Lake Mead and Lamb boulevards Tuesday afternoon.
The child was transported to University Medical Center and pronounced dead.
The baby's name and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
