Letter to the Editor:

Stop U.S. dependence on Saudi Arabian oil

Is the Saudi Arabian government afraid of the U.S.’s hydraulic fracturing?

It appears the Saudi Arabian government is trying to undercut the price of oil destined for the U.S. The Saudis recently cut the price of a barrel oil for the second time. The most interesting part of the oil cuts is the Saudi government has only cut the price of oil for the U.S., nowhere else.

The Saudis have increased the price of oil to Asia and Europe, which pleases most all other OPEC countries.

Hydraulic fracturing is America’s best chance to rid ourselves of dependence on foreign oil, which means no more wars for oil.

Let’s hope we can sustain the price cuts of OPEC’s oil and move forward with total home-produced oil.
