Metro Police have one person in custody amid a search for suspects in an armed robbery that occurred in the area of the Mirage and Treasure Island this afternoon.
Police received a report about 2 p.m. of a robbery in the 3000 block of Business Lane, near Dean Martin Drive and Harmon Avenue, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
The investigation led officers to the area of the Mirage, 3400 Las Vegas Boulevard South, where police were setting up a perimeter, he said. Officer Laura Meltzer said officers detained at least one person in connection with the crime.
It is unclear whether the suspects were still armed, Hadfield said.
