A semi-truck crash on Interstate 15 near the California-Nevada border closed southbound lanes and caused major delays Friday evening, officials said.
The highway's southbound lanes closed near Yates Well Road in Nipton, Calif., about 5 miles from Primm.
As of about 6 p.m., one lane was open, Trooper Loy Hixson said.
California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation of the crash, Hixson said.
