Omar Quintanilla had a double and two RBIs today for the Las Vegas 51s, but it wasn’t enough in a 4-3 defeat to the visiting Reno Aces in the first game of a four-game series at Cashman Field.
The 51s took a quick 3-0 lead with one run in the first inning and two in the second. But Reno responded with a four-run seventh inning, including a two-run home run from Alfredo Marte, to take the victory.
Brandon Allen, who went 2 for 4, was the lone 51s batter to record multiple hits.
The series continues at 12:05 p.m. Sunday.
