A 21-year-old sex offender lured two juveniles into an SUV with the promise of getting them a spot on a TV show with hip-hop artist Lil Wayne, according to a Henderson Police Department arrest report.

Jeremy Marclay Flemings was arrested on two counts of first-degree kidnapping of a minor after two boys, of unspecified age, reported being kidnapped by a man matching his description, the report said.

The arrest report outlines the following details:

The boys were on a snack run to the Walgreens at Warm Springs Road and Arroyo Grande Boulevard when a man approached and asked the boys if they wanted to be on a TV show.

The boys said yes and got into the man’s Range Rover. Flemings asked the boys if they smoked weed.

The boys said no and the man pulled up to a woman walking to her car. He asked her about smoking pot and she got into the SUV.

One of the boys started to become suspicious after Flemings had driven fairly far. He noticed the doors were locked.

Flemings drove the group to an apartment complex, where the woman jumped out of the SUV. Flemings chased the woman and the boys bolted, hopping the gate of the apartment complex.

The boys stopped for a drink at nearby eatery and called police.

Flemings told officers multiple versions of what happened with the boys.

Flemings told an officer he had told one of the boys he made rap music and could make him rich. He told that officer he had a medical marijuana card and that he had told the boys he would smoke pot with them.

When the officer asked Flemings if he thought it was normal for an adult to smoke marijuana with minors, Flemings replied, “To tell you the truth, no, and that’s why it didn’t happen.”

Flemings told another officer one of the boys had asked him for marijuana. Flemings said he had driven to the complex to meet someone to score some pot, but the person didn’t show up.

Flemings told that officer the boys took off and he was driving around looking for them.

Police found a skateboard that belonged to one of the boys in Flemings’ Range Rover.

Henderson jail records show Flemings’ bail is set at $500,000.

Records from Washington state show Flemings has five felony convictions: two for attempted promoting commercial sexual abuse of a minor, one for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, one for conspiracy to manufacture/deliver narcotics and one for residential burglary, according to the report.
