Police seek suspect in robbery at downtown casino

Metro Police are searching for this man who is suspected of physically battering and robbing another person at a downtown casino May 15, 2014, authorities said.

Metro Police are seeking a man suspected of a beating and robbery at a downtown casino last week.

The incident happened about 2 a.m. May 15 at a casino near Fremont Street. Police did not identify the casino. The suspect physically battered another male and then robbed him before fleeing through several casinos, police said.

Authorities described the suspect — who was caught on casino surveillance cameras — as a heavy-set white or Hispanic man, possibly in his 30s or 40s, who was wearing prescription glasses.
