Rural Housing Authority gets new chief

CARSON CITY – CJ Manthe, an executive with the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for 10 years, has been named chief of the state Housing Division.

She succeeds Bruce Johnson, who was appointed in September to the $97,901-a-year job.

Johnson is returning to Philadelphia, where he previously handled housing programs.

Manthe has been chief financial officer of the Rural Housing Authority and prior to that, she was deputy director.

The appointment was announced today by Bruce Breslow, director of the Department of Business and Industry.
