JetBlue announces new nonstop route between Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale

Florida-based JetBlue Airways today announced a new nonstop route between Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., beginning in late October.

Daily departures from Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport will be scheduled for 11 p.m. with arrival at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 6:30 a.m. the next day. Return flights will leave Fort Lauderdale at 7:30 p.m. with arrival in Las Vegas at 10 p.m.

The nonstop service begins Oct. 29.

To coincide with today’s announcement, JetBlue said it was offering special fares today through Monday starting at $129 one way for the Las Vegas-to-Fort Lauderdale service. The fares are valid for travel between Oct. 29 and Dec. 16 with blackout dates Nov. 25 to Dec. 1, the airline said.

JetBlue currently offers nonstop service from Las Vegas to Long Beach, Calif., New York-Kennedy and Boston.

The airline flies to 85 cities in the United States, Caribbean and Latin America with an average of 825 daily flights.
