Suspect sought in armed robbery of Henderson casino

Henderson Police released this surveillance photo from an armed robbery May 4 at a Wildfire Casino in Henderson. Police are seeking clues to the identity of the man, who forced an employee to the floor at gunpoint while robbing the casino.

Henderson Police released this surveillance photo from an armed robbery May 4 at a Wildfire Casino in Henderson. Police are seeking clues to the identity of the man, who forced an employee to the floor at gunpoint while robbing the casino.

Wildfire Casino, 2551 Anthem Village Drive, Henderson

Henderson Police are searching for a man who earlier this month robbed a Wildfire Casino after threatening an employee with a gun, officials said.

The suspect entered the casino about 2:30 a.m. May 4 and approached a female employee, police said. Armed with a handgun, the man threatened the employee and forced her to lie on the ground while he stole money, police said.

The suspect ran through a back door of the casino, 2551 Anthem Village Drive.

No one was injured, police said.

Authorities described the suspect as a black male in his 40s who is about 5-feet-6-inches tall and 160 pounds. The man, who had facial hair, was wearing khaki shorts, a brown shirt with stripes, white shoes and a tan fisherman's cap.
