Here’s the latest installment of the Play of the Day, which uses odds from the South Point.

Our three sports writers started with a $10,000 bankroll — fictional, of course.

Miami Heat minus-7.5 against Brooklyn Nets: $550 to win $500

I had a feeling the “Brooklyn wants a piece of Miami” narrative wouldn’t last too long in this series. The Heat’s 19-point victory in Game One certainly took care of that, securing the defending champs’ fourth cover in five playoff games.

That, plus the fact Miami still has one more LeBron James than its opponent, is enough for me to roll with the Heat. I’ve never been much of a Nets believer, even though they did play very well down the stretch and had that 4-0 regular-season record against Miami.

This won’t be a sweep like the Heat’s first-round snoozer against Charlotte, but they’re going to have to go back to Brooklyn before the Nets get a victory.
